It is almost time for your trip to Panama! As you prepare, please be aware of the new travel requirements and entry screening process for visiting the destination. 1. Negative COVID-19 PCR or Antigen Test

Please be advised that before arriving, all persons travelling to Panama, are required to have a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken no more than 72 hours prior to their arrival. If a test is not possible within that time frame, a COVID-19 rapid test will be mandated at the airport before customs and the traveler will have to cover the costs of said test. (USD$ 50).

2. Complete an Electronic Health Affidavit

In addition, all persons entering Panama must complete an Electronic Health Affidavit. Compliance of pre-departure protocols is mandatory by the Government of Panama.

To complete the Electronic Health Affidavit please here. For the validation at the airport, have your documents and the QR code ready to be shown on your smartphone. It is not necessary to have it printed out.

Before returning to the USA effective immediately, the United States requires that all air passengers entering the country will be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test prior to boarding their flight as per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Many of our travel suppliers have made arrangements for on-site COVID-19 testing right at your hotel (view these travel supplier policies).

Reminder-if you do any COVID testing or seek any healthcare while abroad, please retain all receipts for insurance purposes.
