ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

It is almost time for your trip to the Dominican Republic! As you prepare, please be aware of the new travel requirements and entry screening process for visiting the island. The ongoing pandemic causes frequent changes to entry requirements and testing guidelines, so be sure to check this page frequently leading up to your trip as it will be updated with new information as it becomes available.
Last Updated: Mar 26th, 2021

As of April 1st, 2021 - Passengers entering or leaving the Dominican Republic will be required to complete and submit the digital form with the requested information by the authorities to optimize the processes of entry and departure to the country to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

To access the form, click here.

Passengers will need to fill out a form for arrival and another one for departure and the system will generate two QR codes. Dominican airports have free internet access, so that passengers who did not fill out the form before flying can do so when they arrive in the country. To save time during the arrival procedure, we recommend filling out the form 72 hours before the trip, printing or making a screenshot of the QR code and keeping it on hand until arrival, where it will be scanned by the authorities when passengers go through Customs.

For more details and information on travel restrictions and guidelines, please visit the Dominican Republic Tourist Board website.

Compliance of pre-departure and arrival protocols is mandatory by the Government of the Dominican Republic.

If you have any questions or require assistance before, during, or after your departure, please don't hesitate to contact us. We can always be reached by phone or email.

Before returning to the USA effective immediately, the United States requires that all air passengers entering the country will be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test prior to boarding their flight as per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Many of our travel suppliers have made arrangements for on-site COVID-19 testing right at your hotel (view these travel supplier policies).
