1. Complete the Digital Electronics Epidemiological Health Pass

All travelers entering Costa Rica must complete the digital electronics epidemiological Health Pass form available here.

2. Obtain Travel Insurance

You must obtain travel insurance (either international or purchased in Costa Rica) that covers accommodation in case of quarantine and medical expenses for acute illness.

Traveler’s Medical Insurance can be purchased internationally in advance of your trip or purchased in Costa Rica through the National Insurance Institute here, or at Sagicor here.

COVID testing is no longer required to enter the country.
