It is almost time for your trip to Belize! As you prepare, please be aware of the new travel requirements and entry screening process for visiting the island. The ongoing pandemic causes frequent changes to entry requirements and testing guidelines, so be sure to check this page frequently leading up to your trip as it will be updated with new information as it becomes available.

1. Download and Complete the Belize Health App

Before arriving, all persons are required to download the Belize Health App and input the required information no more than 72 hours prior to landing in Belize. You must also bring along an Official Vaccine Card reflecting the receipt of the dual or single dose vaccine at least two weeks prior to arrival.

2. Negative (RT-PCR) COVID-19 or Rapid Antigen, Sofia, SD Biosensor, ABBOTT (Panbio) Test

If you cannot provide proof of immunization, bring along a negative Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) COVID-19 test taken within 96 hours of travel, or Rapid Antigen, Sofia, SD Biosensor, ABBOTT (Panbio) test taken no more than 48 hours prior to travel.

If neither is presented, you can take a COVID-19 test upon arrival. Children under the age of 5 are not required to present a negative COVID test; Children 5 years and older must present a negative COVID test.

3. Confirm Stay in an Approved Gold Standard Accommodation

All travelers must confirm their stay in an approved Gold Standard Accommodation for the duration of their stay.

Compliance of pre-departure protocols is mandatory by the Government of Belize.
