1. Complete the Bahamas Health Visa Application

Please be advised that all travelers, over the age of 10, to the Bahamas must complete the Bahamas Health Visa application prior to arrival as well as show proof of a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR Swab Test, which was taken no more than FIVE days prior to the date of arrival.  The name and address of the accredited lab, where the test was performed, must be clearly displayed on the test result.

In addition, the health visa will be at your own expense and is dependent on length of stay. For more details and information, please visit the Bahamian Tourism Board website.

2. Second Rapid COVID-19 Test if Staying Longer than 5 Days

On Day five (5), visitors who are staying longer than four nights and five days will be required to take a second rapid COVID-19 antigen test. Those who are departing on day five will not be required to take the test. 

3. Opt-in to COVID-19 Health Insurance

Beginning November 14, as part of the Travel Health Visa application, traveler will be required to opt-in to COVID-19 health insurance that covers them for the duration of their stay in the Bahamas. The cost of insurance included in the Travel Health Visa application fee. 

Compliance of pre-departure protocols is mandatory by the Government of Bahamas.
